STORY:

Grace Canton was planted in late 2023/early 2024 as a part of Grace Church Cardiff ‘branching out’ to create more contexts where people could encounter the grace of God in the South of our city. Grace Canton began life as a small group of individuals gathering with the dream and God-given heart to meet this need. On the invite of Leckwith Gospel Hall (now Canton Community Church), an older congregation in Canton with big hearts for Jesus and a desire for their building to be used for gospel witness in the future, we have now begun services and ministries as we continue to step out in faith.

SUNDAYS:

We gather every Sunday afternoon in Canton Community Church (Leckwith Avenue, CF11 8HQ) at 3.30pm (3.15pm for refreshments). We sing songs of faith, hear a relevant message from the Bible, offer prayer and have groups for children

On the fourth week of a month (EVERY MONTH), we enjoy a meal/coffee and cake together in what we call ‘The Banquet’ and this is an opportunity to get to know each other more but also to welcome anyone for whom a normal service is less familiar. Someone shares their story of how they met Jesus and we have a wonderful time together as FAMILY.

GRACE COMMUNITIES:

We have two small groups in which people can explore faith, grow in their relationship with God and deepen their relationships with others in the church family. These are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays @ 7.30pm in Canton Community Church.

Serving the community:

We seek to live out the good news of Jesus in the wider community of Canton. We are getting involved with community initiatives and planning to launch more ministries to bless the community soon.
